Sales Manager

They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a motivated team focused on fresh produce sales (fruits and vegetables). This is an incredible opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven environment and enjoys mentoring others while growing sales and customer relationships.

About the Role

As the Sales Manager, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing a team of four :

  • 1 Buyer responsible for sourcing and procurement
  • 2 Sales Representatives driving external and internal sales growth
  • 1 Customer Service Representative maintaining excellent client communication and satisfaction

You'll coach, train, and mentor your team to reach and exceed goals, while actively building new client relationships within the foodservice and retail produce sectors. Collaboration, leadership, and a proactive approach are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage your team of 4 to deliver consistent sales performance
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's produce business
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients and partners
  • Provide regular coaching and training to strengthen individual and team performance
  • Work closely with other departments (operations, QA, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and quality delivery
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables) and Office tools, including Teams, to analyze data and manage communication
  • What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in produce sales ideally in the foodservice channel (retail experience also valued)
  • Strong background in sales leadership, managing and developing a small team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Quality assurance or manufacturing exposure is a plus
