Veterinary Assistant Position

VCA Fairway Animal Hospital is expanding its team and looking for a Veterinary Assistant. Compensation : $15 - $16 / hr Schedule : FT 4 / 10 hour shifts including weekends Location : 6000 Mission Road Fairway, KS 66205

We need a seasoned Veterinary Assistant who's knowledge and skills will be utilized to include, but not limited to :

• Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff
• Ensuring there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
• Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked
• Restraining animals during examinations or vaccinations
• Keeping accurate records and logs
• Sterilizing equipment
• Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff
