About the Role : Co-Responder Program - Mental Health Clinician :
North Range Behavioral Health and multiple Police Departments within Weld County have partnered together to create the Co-Responder program. This collaborative team will align and embed behavioral health staff in each respective police department, allowing for a behavioral health specialist to respond to the scene in the community with public safety officers. A full-time Mental Health Clinician is assigned to the team and scheduled during identified peak times for behavioral health calls.
As a Co-Responder Mental Health Clinician, you will partner with law enforcement agencies to provide case consultation, crisis intervention, service coordination, and referrals / linkage to resources for individuals who are identified as having mental health / substance use-related 911 calls.
