US - Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in aerospace propulsion systems, is seeking a US - Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a US - Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engine Dynamics group supporting propulsion engine and APU development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Design and analyze rotor dynamics, system dynamics, and shafting components using advanced finite element methods.

Provide technical oversight and guidance to global engineering teams across different time zones.

Contribute to requirements validation, project compliance, and risk management activities.

Participate in design reviews, technical presentations, and process improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to engineering standards and customer requirements through detailed analysis and documentation.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting rotor dynamics or system dynamic transient analyses for aerospace turbomachine applications.

Proficiency in rotor dynamics, linear static, nonlinear / elasto-plastic, transient analysis, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, & crack growth analyses.

Strong working knowledge of ANSYS or NASTRAN finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.

Excellent communication skills in English, capable of delivering technical reports and presentations clearly and efficiently.
