Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a Per Diem. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
Assess residents’ conditions and report changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during assigned shift
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
Respond to emergencies and provide clinical leadership during the shift
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to resident-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
Experience supervising nursing staff
