About The Position

Facility is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team in Findlay,  Ohio . This full-time position offers the chance to work alongside highly skilled surgeons and access cutting-edge surgical technology, while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will play an integral role in delivering advanced surgical care, with duties including :

Assisting in the operating room during general surgery procedures

Rounding on postoperative patients and managing inpatient consults

Writing daily progress notes and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians

Conducting physical exams and managing acute surgical and critical care conditions

Placing preoperative orders for scheduled surgical cases

Evaluating clinic consults and recommending surgical or endoscopy care plans

Discussing post-operative care and recovery with patients and their families

Interpreting diagnostic imaging such as Ultrasound and CT scans

Managing patient inquiries and phone calls during regular business hours (Monday–Friday)

Contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented surgical practice

Job Requirements

Active Board-Certified Physician Assistant – REQUIRED (no exceptions)

Current Ohio State License or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED

Clean malpractice and licensure history – REQUIRED

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in General Surgery – REQUIRED
