Step Progression : Competitive wage progression within the grade-rates increase with credited years of experience, up to $38.08 per hour at the top step.
Impact Without Patient Care

Essential Functions
Grounds Equipment : Operate, clean, and maintain lawn mowers, snow blowers, leaf blowers, power sweepers, and other groundskeeping tools.
Horticulture Care : Plant, water, trim, and prune flowers, shrubs, and small trees; maintain flower beds and boxes.
Outdoor Upkeep : Mow lawns, weed, rake, hedge‑trim, sweep walkways / parking lots, remove litter, and care for outdoor furniture.
Inclement‑Weather Support : Assist with indoor cleaning when needed and take an active role in snow removal and storm preparation.
Safety & Emergency Response : Help ensure a safe physical plant; respond to fire alarms and assist emergency responders as required.
