Condux Tesmec is looking to expand our dynamic and fast-paced sales team with the addition of a Regional Sales Manager to cover our USA Midwest, Central and Central Canadaterritory.
Condux Tesmec sells equipment for the installation of overhead & underground transmission & distribution powerlines in US & Canada. We are part of a worldwide group active in design, manufacture and sales of products, technologies and integrated solutions for the construction, maintenance and efficiency of infrastructures related to the transport and distribution of energy, data, and material. Condux Tesmecs product portfolio consists of stringing equipment including machines such as puller & puller-tensioner, reel stands, reel winders, pulling rope, blocks, and tools.
The company is looking to expand the current sales team by introducing new Regional Sales Managers to cover their territories.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Travel extensively (75% of job duty is travel) within the assigned territories' to sell the company's products.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for stringing equipment in assigned territories.
- Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account.
- Works to establish new accounts in the region.
- Preparation of quotations.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate customer preference to cultivate new leads and prospects.
- Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
- Resolves customer complaints and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and understanding their specific needs.
- Act as company representative at trade association meetings.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical assistance to ensure optimal equipment application and safety.
- Works toward increasing sales growth in the region at an established rate determined by the Head of Sales and by the General Manager.
- Collaborate with the sales team to establish a network of contacts and generate qualified leads.
Required Skills / Abilities :
This level of RSM requires experience with products or services of a highly complex nature that requires considerable specialized training or in-depth knowledge to explain features and benefits of equipment offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.Excellent time management.Experience working independently and managing multiple priorities.Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and other relevant sales tools.Ability to multitask and complete work while travelling.Thorough knowledge of products, region market, and clients.Excellent problem-solving skills.Organized with attention to detail.Strong understanding of stringing equipment and their applications in overhead and underground transmission & distribution projects.Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within the power line construction industry.Fluency in English required, and fluency in French for Canada territory is beneficial.Ability to work towards assigned goals and targets.Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.Five years of outside sales experience required.Experience within Salesforce preferred.Physical Requirements :
The ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle.Valid driver's license and no major driving violations.Ability to travel by plane.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Compensation and Benefits :
