Authorization Specialist

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist to manage insurance approvals and prior authorizations for ABA services.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and track prior authorizations for ABA services from various payers

Collaborate with clinical staff to gather and submit required documentation

Monitor pending requests, address denials, and maintain accurate authorization records

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred

2+ years of experience in healthcare authorizations, billing, or insurance

Experience with ABA therapy authorizations is a plus

Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 codes

Ability to work across multiple U.S. time zones
