Staff Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to serve as a technical leader and strategic advisor for its data infrastructure and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the technical roadmap for data infrastructure, establishing architectural patterns and standards

Lead the design and implementation of complex data architectures that support business-critical operations

Mentor and guide Data Engineers, establishing engineering standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a data engineering role supporting analytics and data science teams

5+ years of advanced experience with Airflow and Python for production-grade code

3+ years of experience designing and maintaining production APIs for data access and integration

3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services

Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives across teams
