At Alsana, we’re a dedicated eating recovery community helping adults and adolescence of all genders heal with personalized, whole-person care. We offer in-person residential, outpatient, and virtual programs nationwide including adolescent PHP / IOP to meet clients wherever they are in their recovery journey. Our approach addresses the aspects of eating disorders that often go untreated in traditional programs by focusing on five key dimensions of care : medical, nutritional, movement, relational, and therapeutic .

The Role

As the Program Director at Alsana, you will manage the operations of a specific program, including direct care staffing, milieu management, and client scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Director of Clinical Services to manage clinical issues that affect the milieu and assists in implementing corrective actions.
• Provides continuity and serves as liaison between treatment team, clients, and direct care staff.
• Facilitates / co-facilitates groups as appropriate to licensure and scheduling needs.
• Attends and participates in daily clinical meetings as appropriate.
• Coordinates admissions / transitions to program, working closely with Director of Clinical Services and intake team.
• Executes discharge / transitions out of program and coordinates with appropriate parties to ensure a smooth transition to the next level of care.
• Ensures new admissions are firmly integrated into the milieu within the first 24 hours.
• Partner with executive leadership to support organizational initiatives.
• Provide leadership and oversight of program operations.
• Ensure compliance with behavioral health standards and best practices.
• Support staff development through coaching, collaboration, and feedback.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional culture across the program.
• Foster effective communication between staff, clients, families, and external partners.
• Model and reinforce adherence to Alsana’s mission, values, and treatment philosophy.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist with other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

3+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience.

2+ years of recent experience working with eating disorder clients (preferred) or equivalent behavioral health experience.

Experience partnering with an executive team.

High level of written and oral communication skills
