Responsibilities

• Set up calibrate and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect parts and assemblies with high accuracy.
• Interpret technical drawings blueprints and CAD models to determine measurement requirements.
• Program CMM equipment using CAM programming software and understand CNC programming principles to optimize inspection processes.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and other quality control tools to verify measurements.
• Conduct detailed inspections using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure parts meet design specifications.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports documenting measurement data and any deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling fabrication or assembly processes.
• Operate forklifts and handle materials efficiently within the factory environment for materials handling and storage purposes.
• Support fabrication activities including welding stamping presses press brake machines CNC milling machines CNC lathes and other machining equipment as needed.
• Assist in setting up tooling and fixtures for various manufacturing processes to ensure precision during production runs.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with hand tools machinery and factory equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
