Credit Officer / Approver

Our client, a growing commercial bank in the Twin Cities hiring a Credit Officer / Approver to underwrite, make decisions, and monitor lending opportunities while ensuring strong credit portfolio performance. Responsibilities :

Credit Review and Loan Decisioning :

Analyze and decision new credit requests and renewals, ensuring compliance with standards.

Independently assess asset quality ratings and align loan structures with business needs.

Portfolio Monitoring :

Work with Relationship Managers to maintain strong asset quality and address risks.

Monitor delinquencies, financial statements, covenant defaults, and other financial data.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field or equivalent experience.

7-10+ years of credit experience at a regional or global bank.

Expertise in analyzing financials, loan structures, and credit risks independently.

Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
