The Director of Labor & Logistics will lead the development of the regional sourcing and supplier strategy for Avis Budget Group's North American outsourced labor spend and logistics spend across the hundreds of rental locations in North America. This role is responsible for developing and supporting the execution of end to end procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, and driving cost savings while ensuring operational excellence. The position requires deep expertise in contingent labor sourcing in the travel industry and strong collaboration skills to align with cross-functional stakeholders.

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Develop and implement comprehensive aligned sourcing strategies for outsourced labor and logistics (i.e., long haul car shuttling) categories.
• Ensure the development of agreements and supplier relationships which secure competitive terms and conditions to mitigate risks related to cost volatility, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Drive compliance to sourcing strategies across a fragmented supplier base, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and delivery of savings goals.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), maximizing value across cost, service, and quality.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $160,000 - $200,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
