Wound Care Medical Director

A company is looking for an Associate Medical Director, Wound Care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely medical reviews that meet quality parameters

Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers regarding clinical information and review outcomes

Support the team on operational improvements and clinical expertise projects

Required Qualifications

Completed US-based residency program in General Surgery, Surgical Subspecialties, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, or a CPME-approved residency in Podiatry

Board certification as an MD or DO, or DPM with a current unrestricted state license

3+ years of experience in Wound Care Management

5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency or fellowship

Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary
