About the Role :

The Residential Manager - Fayette plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the new George Junior Republic Secure Detention Program in Fayette County, PA. This position ensures that residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment. The manager is responsible for coordinating staff, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with health care regulations and organizational policies. By fostering a positive community atmosphere, the Residential Manager supports both youth and referring agencies. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement in service delivery, safety, and operational efficiency within the secure detention facility.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice or related field, and one year working in a secure setting, or an Associates degree and three years working in a secure detention setting.
• Minimum of three years of experience in residential care management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of the promotion of safety and security.
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to walk, run, stoop, and kneel.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
