Summer Internship Program
The Hanover's Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge, and match your interests to a real job. Through the 10-week summer program (June mid August), you will :
- Take on meaningful projects and work alongside some of the very best talent in the industry
- Be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent (leaders, managers, subject matter experts and recent graduates)
- Participate in a cross-functional team building project focused on corporate philanthropy
- Attend weekly development workshops with your intern peers
- Join in engagement and social activities with other interns

In this role, you will :
Support the Medical Strategy Business Analyst group within our Claims DepartmentUse analytical skills to the development and enhancement of unique propriety business tools that drive optimization and consolidation of agent partners businessCollect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needsAssist in the developing tools, processes and reporting analytics in support of business growth and needsCommunicate with customers, external partners and internal departments frequentlyDevelop data and reports for field and customers to articulate value to agent partners and customersProvide accurate analytical support to team supported ensuring results are validated and accurateSummarize information and effectively communicate analyses in writing and verbally to internal partnersAssist in various projects, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving business environmentCreate and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summerWhat you need to apply :
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferredAbility to commit to a full time 10-week internship programAbility to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future0-2 years of professional working experienceMarketing, sales, or customer service background preferredStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrates initiative, creativity and analytical skillsThinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, identifies, and develops solutions
