Description :
Training for this position starts in November and work starts once the snow flies!
Ensure quality day-to-day operations for all Sales-points in the Rental Shop. Ensuring guests get outfitted in proper gear and all safety protocol is followed and guests are checked out.
Requirements :
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Greet guests.
- Resolve guest issues with a positive outcome.
- Take efforts to maintain a clean and neat facility.
- Operate point of sales system to efficiently help guests.
- Open and close registers, follow all company policies related to cash handling.
- Advises guests of retail and rental-related products and the benefits of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories, quotes price and describes features of products
- Takes payment, makes change, and issues receipts to customers.
- Present a professional, quality image at all times.
- Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming.
- Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace
- Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
- Be familiar with Timberline Lodge and Ski Area information and communication network.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must have service oriented personality.Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.Must have detailed knowledge of procedures and operations involved in equipment rental.Must be proficient in up-selling products and services.Must know and follow all proper service procedures.Must have a working knowledge of but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Word and point of sales software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.Must be able to work in tight space with balance.Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
