Classroom Environment and Organization

• Prepare and arrange learning centers ensuring that the classroom is organized clean and inviting for young learners.

Assist in the preparation and distribution of instructional materials and supplies.

Ensure that both indoor and outdoor areas are set up to promote exploration and development.

Child Supervision and Safety

Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines promptly responding to any emergencies or incidents.

Observe children to ensure that behavior aligns with safety and classroom expectations.

Instructional Development and Support

Provide one-on-one or small group support to address each childs unique learning needs.

Assist with the systematic observation and recording of childrens progress and development.

Encourage exploratory learning through play helping children build social emotional and cognitive skills.

Communication and Teamwork

When appropriate assist with sharing observations or updates with parents to support a consistent home-school connection.

Participate in staff meetings trainings and professional development sessions to continuously enhance classroom support.

Professionalism and Compliance

Maintain the confidentiality of student and family information in accordance with privacy regulations.

Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practices to continually improve the quality of support provided.
