Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in Preadmission Testing for prepping patients for surgery

    • \n

  • Preferably four 10-hour shifts with varied scheduling

    • \n

  • Travel assignment for Day Surgery / PreAdmission Testing

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 2

    • \n

  • Located on 2nd floor of main hospital across from PACU

    • \n

  • Work with 15-bed unit with varying staff numbers

    • \n

  • Use Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Perform recovery procedures as typical unit function

    • \n

  • Must have Day Surgery experience or PACU experience (candidates without these skills will not be considered)

    • \n

  • Preferred candidates have Day Surgery or PACU background

    • \n

  • May float to Preadmission Testing area

    • \n

  • On call only for weekends

    • \n

  • Follow ASPAN Guidelines

    • \n

  • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs

    • \n

  • Best personality fit is easy going and pleasant

    • \n

  • No required certifications
