Job description

Assistant Clinical Director Who :

  • Job Purpose :

  • The Assistant Clinical Director serves as a provider while also managing the clinical and provider staff at their designated office, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all patient treatment and ensure schedules are optimized to identify surgical candidates.
  • Communicate surgical candidate information to senior leadership daily.
  • Act as a resource for less experienced providers and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage clinical staff time, attendance, and PTO; monitor daily performance and address concerns.
  • Review staff notes and treatment plans for compliance with established standards.
  • Job Requirements :

  • Licensed PA-C, NP, or OPA-C with at least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics.
  • Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures, post-op care, and treatment protocols.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, NextGen, Office 365, Power BI, and other EHR systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Education & Certifications :

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Nurse Practitioner, or related field.
  • Current certification as a PA, NP, or Orthopedic Physician Assistant.
  • Active licensure in Georgia.
