Primary Purpose and Function
Candidates must be trained in anxiety and mood disorders and provide individual, group, and family therapies. Experience in DBT, EMDR, Trauma, CBT and MI are highly desirable. Therapists will treat a selected caseload of female and male clients suffering from substance abuse and behavioral health issues. These clinicians must be able to perform bio-psychosocial assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary treatment and discharge planning for clients. Close communication with family members and referents is also required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree & Current Indiana License
- At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred
- Commitment to client, family, and referent satisfaction
- Specialization in Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Addiction, Eating Disorders
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele
