We are looking for an excellent Dental Assistant to join our Dental Practice!

To be considered for this position, you must have Schooling or Office experience as a Dental Assistant.

Job Duties :

Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).

Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse.

Providing patients with Pre / Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).

Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;(e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).

Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).

Taking needed pre-op / post-op x-rays for necessary insurance. Ex : XB, Space maintainer, etc.

Chart / enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend software.

Must be able to work Saturdays

Full-time. Mon-Fri 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm Sun 8 : 00 am- 2 : 00 pm
