Technical Service Engineer

Title : Technical Service Engineer

Location : Onsite in Houston (Near Katy) with some work from home and up to 20% travel

Skills : Must have strong experience with relays, records, and mid-high voltage

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support and expertise for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of relays and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the functionality and reliability of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers for product installation and troubleshooting.
  • Perform functional testing and witness / acceptance testing to ensure product reliability.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs with accurate and timely information.
  • Develop and implement AC / DC schemes for various applications.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and staff on product usage and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience with relays, recorders, and technical service roles.
  • Strong understanding of functional testing and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with mid - high voltage systems and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with AC / DC schemes.
