POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for accounting, administration and governance work in department
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
- Work on daily accounting, administration, and governance issues. Maintain and keep a clean balance sheet
- Perform pre-closing procedures (Purchase / Sales / MIT cut-off, Accruals, BS / PL, SGA / CCC review etc.)
- Create monthly / quarterly / semi-annual reports (Financial results, Commodity Position, Aged TAR, Derivative MTM, Slow-Moving Inventory, Review Meeting etc.)
- Manages internal / external audit engagement project, navigate and collaborate with unit team members to ensure an effective outcome is met
- Perform the back office role of commodity derivative transactions with LME brokers
- Support the Logistics / Sales staff under Administrative & Accounting Dept. to ensure an effective outcome and high level results are met for the BU as a whole
- Manage and process certain payments / receipts
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business related field, or equivalent experience
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Japanese bilingualThree years accounting experienceRequires excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work in a multi-cultural business environmentRequires excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skillsSAP experience preferredJOB-RELATED CERTIFICATION :
