• Work overnight shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Holiday, on-call, and callback coverage as needed per unit requirements
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans following department safety protocols
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast studies
• Position patients appropriately, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC system and ensure proper image documentation
• Ensure images are correctly sent to PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
• Must have completion of formal training from approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification required
• New York State licensure required prior to starting position
• Two years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Six months of Siemens scanner experience required
• Injection certification preferred or willingness to complete during orientation
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
