Job Summary
The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II plays a crucial role in the Pediatric Interventional Cardiac and Imaging department. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional echocardiograms for assessment and diagnosis by Pediatric Cardiologists. You will contribute to a collaborative team environment while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
In this role, you will :
- Independently perform high-quality Pediatric Echo operations in various clinical settings.
- Prepare comprehensive preliminary reports for effective diagnosis.
- Participate in a call rotation covering all Echo Lab locations.
- Prioritize and organize patient exams efficiently.

Qualifications :
Graduation from a Cardiovascular / Ultrasound program or equivalent experience.Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) in Pediatrics.Fetal Echocardiography certification is preferred.A minimum of two years of pediatric echocardiography experience is required, with a solid comprehension of M-Mode, 2-D, 3-D, Doppler, and color Doppler techniques.Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and complex congenital heart diseases is essential.Experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cath Lab is preferred.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or an equivalent organization is required.Physical Requirements :
