🏭 Job Title : Weekend Production Associate

Department : Deburr, Powder Coat & Finishing

Shift : Friday – Sunday, 5 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our production team for the weekend shift. This entry-level role focuses on deburring, powder coating, and finishing metal components. If you enjoy working with tools, staying active, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Use hand and small power tools to safely remove burrs and create edge breaks
• Inspect part dimensions to ensure adherence to blueprint specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify part configuration
• Operate measuring equipment such as gauges, scales, and calipers
• Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat various metal parts
• Assist with manual material handling and lifting tasks
• Load parts onto production lines to maximize capacity
• Apply plugs and tape to parts as needed
• Use grinders to prep materials for welding
• Support sanding, grinding, and deburring of steel components
• Participate in cross-training within the machining department (machine setup, loading / unloading)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
