The Sheetmetal Apprentice will fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ductwork, plenums, air devices, louvers and air moving equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping sheet metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Supported the assembly and installation of ductwork and other metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Work sites include commercial buildings from start to finish, as well as existing structures where we go in and make repairs or improvements
• Learn proper safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Transport materials and tools to job sites as needed.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow instructions from journeymen and supervisors to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Participate in classroom instruction or related training programs as required.
