Financial Analyst (FP&A)

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our finance team at a leading private equity-backed dermatology practice management organization. This role will work hand in hand with Regional Financial Managers to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making to drive operational and financial efficiency across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry, and is eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Salary range : $70,000-$85,000 depending upon years of experience

Hybrid position- Mon-Wed in office. During peak times, 4-5 days a week in office may be required.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Analyze revenue and expense variances, assess financial risks, and recommend corrective actions.

Assist in evaluating clinic-level cost structures such as medical supply costs and overhead expenses, to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Support Regional Finance Managers with preparing financial forecasts, reports, Ad Hoc analysis, and company growth strategies.

Assist in developing the annual budget process with direct ownership of company overhead budgeting.

Provide support with evaluating opportunities, assessing ROI, and providing financial guidance for strategic decision-making.

Assist in the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives.

Prepare financial reports, analyses, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support Regional Finance Managers by extracting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.

Continuously improve financial planning processes and models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, and financial modeling techniques.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are essential.

Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization platforms is a plus.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards in the healthcare sector.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Licensure / Certifications / Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

1-4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in multi-site healthcare organizations, dermatology practices, or medical groups.

Experience in private equity-backed companies is favored.
