Job Summary :
Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C., is currently seeking a per diem MRI Technologist. As an MRI Technologist you will be responsible for maintaining imaging equipment to ensure that patients are protected and in an optimal position for imaging. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal communication skills as well the ability to communicate and engage with physicians, and patients. MRI Technologist will be responsible for gathering patient medical histories, explaining the scanning process, as well as review and document all patient related records. The MRI Technologist is also responsible for assisting Radiologist with special procedures such as arthrograms. Candidates should have both technical and physical strength necessary to operate the scanner.

Typical Physical Demands :
Work may require sitting for long periods of time, and also stooping, bending and stretching for supplies. Position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a computer and MRI equipment, and other office equipment as necessary. Vision must be correctable to 20 / 20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. Position also requires viewing computer screens and typing for long periods of time.
