Oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance, and managing the accounting team. Key duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing financial statements ensuring accurate financial records and reports by managing daily operations and reconciling accounts.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting :  Oversee the review of statements, reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, Schwab, and QuickBooks accounts.
• Financial Oversight :   Manage accounts payable and receivable, approving and signing all checks, oversee month-end and year-end close processes, and monitor the general ledger reconciliation and the business to cash reconciliation, plus daily cash analysis.
• Audit & Compliance :   Coordinating with external and internal auditors and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Process Improvement :   Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting – Required

Master’s degree in accounting -      Preferred

Proven experience in accounting / finance

GAAP understanding

Proficiency in accounting software

Advanced excel skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

Previous experience in leadership / management
