Disability Specialist Needed to Assist Individuals Who Are Blind

Are you patient with others, do you have experience with individuals living with learning disabilities, illiteracy or English as a second language? Can you be available for one to two hours per week to assist an individual who is developmentally disabled and blind with reading and processing mail and other written materials?

The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind seeks volunteers with specialized skills and patience to assist individuals with blindness and perhaps other disabilities such as literacy, learning or other social services needs.
