Job description

Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in generating and qualifying leads for our Accessory Dwelling Unit projects. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, and your job is to clearly communicate our value proposition, assess client needs, and schedule consultations with our senior sales team.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, preferably within construction or homebuilding, and is confident with phone outreach and customer engagement. Excellent spoken English and clear communication are essential, as you will be speaking directly with homeowners and investors on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to engage new leads.
  • Clearly communicate our Accessory Dwelling Unit offerings and value proposition to prospects.
  • Qualify leads through needs analysis and pass high-potential prospects to the closing sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Provide insights from client conversations to help refine messaging and offerings.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally in construction, real estate, or homebuilding industries.
  • Experience with manufactured housing or Accessory Dwelling Units is highly preferred.
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills accent clarity is crucial due to client-facing phone responsibilities.
  • Strong personal outreach skills confident, persuasive, and engaging.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a fast-paced pipeline.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and modern sales tools.
  • 2+ years in a similar SDR or inside sales role.
  • Knowledge of the ADU market or zoning / permitting processes is a plus.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not required.
