Overview
The Title Manager supports the Consumer Direct Channel by monitoring title vendors' performance via scorecarding. This position is responsible for creating operational efficiencies while improving productivity and customer (borrower) satisfaction. This position is accountable for the full life of the title vendor process from title order received to funds disbursement for each closed loan. This person will manage a small staff of Title Company Operational Oversight Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Create scorecards from data points related to the title.
- Identify and install new data points needed within Encompass (LOS) and WVM portal to track title vendor performance.
- Utilize data and / or scorecards to drive analytics-driven decision-making for title vendor allocations.
- Recommend allocation of title orders to each vendor based on performance outcomes.
- Document and monitor all requests made of title vendors and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Identify areas for operational efficiencies and improved customer experience related to vesting information, subordination of liens, and loan settlement, among other things.
- Implement, manage, and maintain a standardized vendor process and expectations.
- Be the subject matter expert on title issues and new title innovations that may be used to enhance productivity and customer experience.
- Act as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for the title vendor requests.
- Initiate, analyze, and partner with IT to create departmental reporting and monitoring of workload to ensure balance and volume are addressed.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Title Company Operational Oversight Analyst.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of title insurance operations.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel; ability to write Excel macros / Visual Basic is strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proven ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.In-depth knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements, government-sponsored enterprise loan program requirements, and mortgage documents.Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan closing / funding and as a title company settlement agent.Demonstrated team leadership experience.Lakeview is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
