Full Stack Developer at Reinventing Geospatial (RGi)

Overview

Reinventing Geospatial (RGi) is a leading expert in geospatial solutions for Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients. We enhance situational awareness for soldiers and analysts by integrating software development with geospatial intelligence. Our projects range from data collection to advanced deep learning, leveraging tools such as Python, Java, and ArcGIS.

Eligibility

Active Top Secret clearance with FSP.

U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Gather and document application requirements from customer requests, coordinating with the product manager.

Implement new application features using shell scripting, Python, Java, and JavaScript (front?end and back?end).

Collaborate with front?end and back?end developers to meet all technical requirements within the architecture.

Partner with UI / UX experts to create an intuitive, research?driven application experience.

Participate in daily Scrum meetings to review tasking, identify blockers, and plan upcoming work.

Test new application features as they are developed to validate requirements.

Present software deliverables to the product manager and team at the end of each sprint cycle.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience.

Strong JavaScript (Hono.js) and Python (FastAPI) experience.

Strong TypeScript / JavaScript (Vue.js) and TailwindCSS experience.

Experience with DevOps tools, including CDKTF / Terraform.

Experience with relational database design and SQL queries.

Active / current TS / SCI clearance with full?scope polygraph.

Willingness to work onsite full time.

Additional Skills

Experience building chat interfaces and integrating with LLMs via API.

Experience using Docker containers for development (Podman).

Experience working in cloud environments (AWS).

Familiarity with Git for source control.
