Program Manager
The Program Manager (PgM) is responsible for managing a set of related projects, subsidiary programs, and program activities in a coordinated manner, for the delivery of electro-mechanical systems, to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage programs consistent with Oceaneering values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and business ethics.
- Apply knowledge of program and project management competencies to manage the core elements of program and project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, and stakeholders in order to meet project requirements.
- Apply knowledge of personal competencies of communication, leadership, management, cognitive abilities, effectiveness, and professionalism to lead the program team in meeting the project objectives.
- Lead a team of project managers, and assign tasks as guided by the program plan, setting and communicating clear expectations.
- Ensure that program goals and objectives remain aligned with the overall strategic objectives of Oceaneering Technologies and ADTECH.
- Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects.
- Decide on suitable strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate cross-project activities.
- Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
- Apply change, risk, and resource management.
- Assume responsibility for the program's people and vendors.
- Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
- Resolve projects' higher scope issues.
- Prepare reports for program directors.
- Work with other Program and Functional Managers to manage program resources and resolve conflicts.
- Work with Business Development to develop new projects and programs in support of Oceaneering's strategic objectives.
- Support the company's objective of continuous improvement by reviewing, incorporating, and contributing to lessons learned, and suggesting changes to process and procedure in order to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of program execution.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, with a major in an Engineering discipline preferred.10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.10+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a projectized matrix environment.PMP Certification or achieved within 3 years.Ability to obtain / maintain security clearance.Technical writing and editing skills.Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.Strong Interpersonal Skills.Ability to interact with customer representatives.Ability to support technical reviews of various documentation and other project deliverables.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and work independently.Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.Strong skills in Excel and Other Microsoft Office Products.Knowledge of P6, EVMS, MS Project, Contract Comprehension, FAR / DFAR, CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.Additional Information
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.

Annualized pay rate for this position : $144,500 - $195,500.
