Empowered Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team.
In this role, you will build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, promote independence, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, joyful lives.
As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with each customer to understand their unique needs, support them in achieving their goals, and provide care in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs serve not only as caregivers but also as mentors, advocates, and trusted companions for the individuals we support.
247 : We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a wonderful individual who loves listening to music, finger painting, solving big knob puzzles, and giving fist bumpsjust say knuckles and hell happily join in! Though he is non-verbal, he thrives when his providers bring energy and excitement to their interactions, making his day brighter through fun and connection.
We are looking for a DSP who is patient, attentive, and medically skilled. This individual requires a lot of hands-on care, including administering medications, safely assisting with physical movement, and responding calmly during seizures. He experiences pain regularly, so keeping him comfortable and supported is a key part of the role.
He does best with clear, simple communication and limited choicesoffering one or two options at a time helps him feel secure.

Encourage and guide customers in achieving their personal goals, tracking progress, and sharing insights with their County Coordinator.
Foster skill development, hobbies, interests, and community engagement, helping customers build confidence and independence.
Develop genuine relationships, creating a sense of belonging and helping customers recognize their value and voice in the community.
Keep in touch with County Coordinators and report updates or concerns promptly, ensuring smooth and supportive care.
Follow all safety and wellness protocols to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for customers.
Complete required state training and certifications, keeping your skills sharp and your care up-to-date.
Approach each day with compassion, patience, and understanding. Serve as a mentor, advocate, and companion, bringing encouragement, laughter, and meaningful support to customers lives.
