Customer Service / Scheduler

General Description :

To take orders and process according to procedures, assist with quotations and scheduling production orders.

Responsibilities :

• Enter orders in the computer system
• Use knowledge of inventory to clarify customer orders
• Use computer program to determine price and availability for customers
• Answer customer questions on order status, expediting, etc.
• Enter quotations in the computer system
• Close work orders
• Monitor stock levels
• Keep the production schedule current
• Communicate schedule changes with all departments
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure all orders have alternate routers
• Work with customers with expediting requests
• Update customers on order status
