Process Engineer

Global Gear & Machining seeks a Process Engineer to support the GGM family. We are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL, with easy access off of 355 expressway. Responsibilities :

• CAD is required for this role
• Understand and digest standards and specifications
• Create work instructions for the associates to understand
• Read and follow customers' demands on product standards
• Write process details as needed
• Provide support on first-piece parts
• Support shop floor associates on processes and guidelines required to meet customers' specifications
• Work with our gauge and tooling team to provide needed tools for the task
• Work with the Quality team to assure we are meeting customers' requirements
• Must be able to work independently
• IATF and Epicor experience is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of Process Engineer experience is required
• Turning experience would be a plus
