Job descriptionSupport staff : in echo there’s a team of echo techs always an inpatient attedning for cardiology available via phone always an interventional cardiologist on call Amount of coverage needed per month : at least 2 weeks / mo of coverage Patients per day : about 25-30 echos / day Patient population / age : all adult Department description : EMR : epic Special procedures : Skills required : Inpatient / outpatient Hospital Board Certification : BC or BE License required : Yes CA license required DEA : Yes CA DEA with Schedule 2 required Certifications preferred : Advanced Echocardiography Level III certification Certifications required : BLS Minimum experience required : 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application. VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Cardiology.

Description : ALL INCLUSIVE RATE
Facility : Locums - UCSF Campus Zuckerberg SF General
Specialty : Cardiology - non invasive
Start Date : ASAP may have option for emergency privs if there's no malpractice ~30 days
Contract Length : 6 mo option to extend
Shift Details : 5x8 M-F
Schedule :
2 weeks / mo of coverage
Will only do ECHO services and option is available to do inpatient rounding if provider has an academic medical center background
Work Details :
We’re seeking non-invasive academic cardiologists with inpatient and outpatient experience. Interest in additional focused areas such as heart failure arrhythmias echocardiographic imaging preventive cardiology cardiometabolic syndromes or other various areas are desirable. The candidate must be board-certified / board-eligible or equivalent in Cardiovascular Disease. The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience in a variety of clinical disciplines in Cardiology. Strong interest in clinical research and / or health care disparities studies will also be considered.
Level 1 trauma center
Does inpatient and outpatient echos
Does emergent and high acuity echos
Teaching hospital
TEE
TTE
Experience working with diverse populations
Bilingual is a plus
Teching experience preferred
Practice Setting :
Requirements :
Must have recent experience reading high volume of echos
Teaching experience STRONGLY preferred
Willing to consider new grads
Experience working with diverse populations strongly preferred
Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days
Interview Expectationshow many? : 2 via Zoom
Bill Rate : 420 / hr
All Inclusive? Yes
Shift Info : Day 5x8-Hour 08 : 00 - 17 : 00
