SUMMARY OF POSITION :
This position will be home-based in Carlisle, but the employee will be expected to travel occasionally to the Urgent Care West located in Camp Hill PA.
The Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse of provider. The LPN will observe, report and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record. The LPN will instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans. The LPN will communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
The Carlisle Urgent Care is looking for individuals who are looking to grow their careers and broaden their skill sets. In this fast-paced clinic setting with 3 patient rooms and 1 to 2 providers on at any given time we are looking for someone who is adaptable and a team player. Previous medical experience is a plus but not required. We offer a flexible schedule of working 4 days a week with alternating weekends.
