About the Role :

A high-growth specialty contractor is seeking a Controls Engineer to lead innovative building automation and integrated systems across advanced cleanroom and controlled environment projects. As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, this position will shape and optimize automated systems from concept through commissioning. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with strategic collaboration skills, working closely with divisional leaders and project stakeholders to ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and meet demanding performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Systems Design & Engineering Leadership

• Drive the full lifecycle of control system design including panel layouts, wiring diagrams, instrumentation specs, and network architecture.
• Develop control logic and HMI functionality using PLC and DDC platforms across various protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
• Design and tailor bespoke solutions for unique facilities, such as contamination-controlled areas, humidity-free zones, radiation-protected rooms, and intricate mechanical systems requiring specialized access.
• Standardize and continuously refine engineering documentation, specs, and processes across all projects.
