Job descriptionDevelop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and presentations. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Collaborate with fellow educators to improve instructional strategies and share resources. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other essential documentation. Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and classroom activities effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and staff. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs. Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes and required reporting. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise in the classroom setting.

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced teacher dedicated to creating an inclusive and innovative learning experience designed to help at-risk students reach their full academic, emotional, and social growth potential in a small group setting. Must have proven knowledge of classroom management and curriculum development to compliment in-class instruction.
REQUIREMENTS
- A degree from an accredited university in education or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience as lead classroom teacher
