Shift : 12 Hour Shifts (Days, Nights, or Variable)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,420 - $1,530 per week

Qualifications for Operating Room Technician Jobs

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician, Surgical Technologist, or Scrub Tech

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification in Nursing or Surgical Technology preferred

Experience in fast-paced clinical or hospital surgical environments

Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Operating Room Tech Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions

Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning and properly positioned

Assist surgeons and healthcare professionals during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

Maintain the sterile field and anticipate surgical team needs

Prepare patients for surgery, including cleansing and disinfecting incision sites

Assist with patient positioning and draping

Clean and restock the operating room after procedures

Transport patients to recovery rooms as needed

Dispose of contaminated supplies and sterilize surgical instruments

Maintain accurate surgical counts and documentation

Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including lights, suction machines, and sterilization tools

Assist with robotic surgical equipment preparation if required

Monitor patient vital signs and assist anesthesia personnel as needed
