As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting visitors, vendors, and employees in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activities.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address incidents or emergencies at the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the automotive environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician certification.
  • Must have prior supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
