Rehab Technician

The Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves assisting with the implementation of treatment plans for patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and acute care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient service and a genuine interest in geriatrics and orthopedics.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists and other rehabilitation professionals in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during therapy sessions.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Document patient interactions and progress accurately in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including cleaning equipment and treatment areas, and providing facilities support such as restocking paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies .
