Position Summary :

As a Business Banking Associate, you will provide administrative support to Business Bankers, function managers, and related departments. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, preparing complex documents, and supporting various departmental activities. You will collect, compile, and analyze data to create both standard and custom reports that support decision-making. A strong understanding of banking laws and regulations is essential, and duties must be performed in compliance with these standards. This role requires independent judgment and discretion, and you will also serve as a resource and provide guidance to other support staff.

What will you do : Accountabilities

File Maintenance

Perform file maintenance in an efficient and accurate manner that aligns with department goals and objectives.

Establish Loan Documents

Create loan documentation that is accurate and in compliance with laws and regulations.

Liaison

Serve as the liaison between lenders and other Bank departments.

Compliance

Maintain a working knowledge of guidelines, policies, laws and regulations associated with work responsibilities. Ensure compliance in processes and related communication(s). Monitor and audit work regularly. Identify, address and / or escalate issues appropriately.

Qualifications

Secondary education in related field preferred. Relevant work experience preferred, including banking or related field, or a combination of education / experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position.
