Position Summary : :

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking part-time Math Tutors. Tutors must be knowledgeable in their field and able to work with students in order to meet their individual needs. The professional tutors and peer tutors are under the direct supervision of the Director of Tutoring Services. This position will be at South Campus in Concord, NC

Required Education / Experience : :

• Professional Tutor : Degree in math or a closely-related field; extensive college course-work in math
• Peer Tutor : High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), an overall GPA of 3.0 with grades in the tutoring area no lower than a B, a minimum of 12 credit hours and at least two instructor referrals

Work hours will vary but will fall between the hours of 9 : 00 a.m. 6 : 00 p.m. Monday Thursday. Pay will be between $15-$20 depending on educational level.
