As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing a welcoming presence while maintaining a secure environment. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism and care. You will help to deter unauthorized activity through your attentive presence and exceptional customer service. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $23.46 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communication with appropriate personnel and / or authorities.
  • Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence and adherence to site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience and a combined total of 3 or more years of law enforcement, military, or adult corrections, or possess a college degree in Criminal Justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
